Present Indefinite Negative Sentence Example
The present indefinite tense, also known as the simple present tense, is used to describe habits, routines, and general truths. In negative sentences, we use do not or “don’t and does not or doesn’t to indicate that something does not happen or is not true.
Structure
- For subjects I, you, we, they:
- Subject + do not + base form of the verb.
- Example: I do not eat vegetables.
- For subjects he, she, it:
- Subject + does not + base form of the verb.
- Example: She does not play soccer.
